In celebration of 2009, 5th Element Events will be giving back to their community. Starting February 1st, the event design firm will be donating a percentage of profits from every event they produce to two special foundations:

Sunnybrook Veteran's Wing - 'Grant a Wish Foundation'

The 'Grant a Wish' program at Sunnybrook Hospital provides an opportunity for war veterans to experience a wish come true. Recently, this foundation made it possible for a grandfather to witness his grandson play in the NHL at the ACC - something that could not normally be done due to health restrictions. With the Sunnybrook foundation, our war veterans are able to experience something that can provide rejuvenation to their everyday life.

Centre Camp

Centre Camp provides specialty programs in dramatic arts, sports and traditional camping for over 1200 campers each year. Money will be going to the 'Centre Camp Scholarship Fund' to help a child in need experience a summer of endless possibilities while gaining life skills that last a lifetime.

Money raised by December 31st, 2009, will be split and donated to both foundations.

The event industry still thrives even in the face of recession and financial gloom. We must help out in order for others to follow suit. It's the right thing to do and the right leadership role to take! These two charities cover a wide spectrum of age and life experience, a focus that 5th Element Events wanted to cover when developing this 2009 campaign.
